I’d have to give this review a pretty low grade, Jorl. I’m usually a big fan of your posts, but geez, Taker vs. JBL??? Would you have liked it better if it was Taker vs. Big Show?

And as for the ending of that match, umm, Big Show knocked him out cold. His hand was raised. There was no DQ.

You said you didn’t watch the last match. I’m wondering if you watched ANY of it. Not too closely.

Yes I did watch the show. I watched it on justin.tv with several fellow youtubers on skype. When I review I don’t give play-by-play. It’s boring to read, and to type. I just like giving thoughts and sometimes pointing out moments of the match that stood out to me.

As for the HHH ending, basically what you (and some others) are saying is you didn’t like it because HHH won. If he didn’t roll Hardy you’d have been just fine with it. Probably if Trips had landed the pedigree and Hardy had rolled him over you’d be saying, ‘Great match, great finish!!!’

Ah but this is where you are wrong. In my posts on other threads, I’ve said that Triple H needed to win here or else Hardy’s win wouldn’t feel as special as it could have. I was dissapointed that Triple H was able to roll Hardy up right after the swanton. It did come off as making him look strong enough to withstand Hardy’s finisher, but never did I say that Triple H buried Hardy here. He made Hardy look like he belonged.

Because if Hardy didn’t land his best stuff and Triple-H had pedigreed him, you’d say it was a horrible finish, same old Triple-H stuff. I’m pretty sure of that.

As I said, Hardy should never have won if you would’ve read my No Mercy predoction posts.

Give me a good ending to that match that you would have really liked where Triple-H won.

Actually I would have loved for Triple H to end it in a pedigree, or a regular roll-up without Hardy’s swanton, or at least doging it. Either of these I’m okay with as long as it looked like Hardy took Trips to his limit, and he did.

Having your idols put you in a headlock and slam you to the ground doesn’t sound like a dream come true.
