First Match- JBL defeated Finlay w/ Horny. Fun match, but forgettable. A table’s broken. LOTS of trash cans, and trash can lids. These guys are capable of so much more. JBL wins with a Clothesline from Hell I’d say: **3/4 stars CM Punk wins Money in The Bank. Without a doubt, best MITB match to date. Morrison did a sick moonsault w/ a ladder. Benjamin took a nasty bump through a ladder, Carlito did a Backstabber to some guy off a ladder, Jericho hit the CodeBreaker with a ladder. Probably the biggest surprise of the night, and a markout moment for me. MVP about to grab the title, and guess who interferes? MATT HARDY!!! He comes out of the crowd, climbs the ladder, Twist of Fate off the top! Leaves. CM Punk and Jericho fighting at the top, Jericho’s foot gets caught in the ladder, allowing Punk to grab the title. One of the best matches of the night. Way better than last years. Everyone looked good. ****1/2 Batista defeated YOUMANGA. Big dissapointment. Should’ve gone a little longer, I believe they could’ve had an awesome brawl. Maybe not even 10 minutes. Batista wins with a spine buster followed by a weird Batista Bomb. **1/2 Kane defeats Chavo to win ECW title. Basically, Chavo comes in, Kane in from out of the apron, Chavo tries to punch Kane, Kane blocks, hits the Chokeslam. 1 2 3. New Champ, Kane….in 9 mthfckng seconds. Rating: SQUASH (C’mon! 10 minutes would’ve sufficed! Big dissapointment, but hey Kane won at least)

Ric was inducted by HHH into hall of fame last night. He was the greatest and HHH let him know that. Ric also paid tribute to Shawn Micheal saying he will be inducted one day also.

Short of Floyd Mayweather physically body-slamming Paul “Big Show” Wight — a la Hulk Hogan against Andre the Giant in 1987 — there remains some question as to how the ending of their WrestleMania XXIV match …
Read David Mayos whole article on this match. Its really funny, and should probably have been scripted this way by Vince and Steph. Enough said except to read the article!!!!!!!!

Set to make a huge announcement, instead Flair rejected the notion that he would be leaving the WWE.
Ric will have a job in wrestling after he retires. Vince was and is commited to help Ric through his tax problems. I also can see Ric as a manager in WWE. Vince Senior did that with (Classy) Freddie Blassie after he retired as a wrestler. He is great as a front man and promoter. I remember Ric’s last TV match in WCW. It was a kiss my ass match with Dusty Rhodes and Big Dust won.

IT’S the question everyone always has before WrestleMania - what do the WWE stars really think of the line-up? And now, thanks to another world exclusive Sun interview, you need wonder no more.
The only reason Im getting Pay per view is to watch the Flair HBK match at wrestlemania. Although I do want to see undertaker win his 16th in a row againt Edge. I saw Flair start in AWA in 1972 so 36 years later I want to see him go out. I bet after the match HBK hugs him and HHH comes out too to pay respect to Ric.

Rocky Johnson of Pembroke Pines points to a photo of three generations of family pro wrestlers, including his son, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Dwayne’s Samoan grandfather, Peter Maivia.
I relate to Rocky Johnson. He was a teriffic wrestler allways in great shape and very good in the ring. He won two WWF tag titles that I remember. One early on with Bo Bo Brazil and then later on with Jesse (the body) Ventura. Anyhow he wrestled in AWA also and was really hard to beat. His grandfather Led The Wild Somoans. They had the tag bels several times. It must be heredity to be that good, and the Rock was!!!!!!!!

Jeff Hardy needs help, and the person that can do that for him is already on the roster. That person is the Heartbreak Kid, Shawn Michaels. Much like Jeff, Shawn has had to battle his personal demons in the past. People call Jeff the next Shawn, so it would only make sense for HBK to help Jeff in one of his darkest days. Please check out the link for the full story.

THE best wrestling storylines are always the ones where real emotions are manipulated and fans are gripped into a soap opera-like saga.
. Hornswoggle gimmick worked well for months. It was funny but these storylines burn out. It still creates an interesting battle between Finlay and Vince-JBL.

I dont think it was that much of a surprise. Jeff’s 2nd bust in 5 years, and then his house burns down. The WWE has so much pressure from Congress, they cant afford to let the wrestlers get away with anything. I dont think Jeff will have a title shot for a long time, if he isnt just released again. Maybe he can open a drug store with Bobby Lashley!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was a smackdown _ Hollywood-style.
Vince McMahon, the promoter who helped turn professional wrestling into prime-time TV entertainment, got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Friday.
He humbly thanked wrestlers and fans before shifting into the cocky, evil Mr. McMahon persona he uses on World Wrestling Entertainment telecasts.
‘I already know I’m a star,’ he said, drawing cheers from the crowd. ‘I’m the biggest star of all time.’
McMahon, WWE’s owner, was honored in the television category. Read more

Washington, Mar 09: American actor and former professional wrestler Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is desperate to play the villain in James Bond movies.
The Rock is smart and makes good movie choices. He will be at wrestling Hall of Fame induction for his Dad and Grandfather. But if I could make 20 million a year doing movies, I wouldnt wrestle anymore either. Takes too much time and training to prepare yourself.
