Female mud wrestling involves women wrestling in a mud pit, big surprise there.
Female mud wrestling often times, calls for the women to wear a minimal amount of clothing so that it provides a titillating event for the crowd, which is composed of mostly males, who are usually under the influence of alcoholic beverages.
The female mud wrestling matches are, for the most part, held in venues that blare "redneck" music from its speakers. The female mud wrestling pit is usually a six-foot square sized ring. Some of these female mud wrestling events have the women divided into three weight classes; a light, middle, and a heavyweight class. Any woman is free to participate, but most of the women who take part in this mud wrestling seem to be the type of girl you would find as a topless dancer and not as a female mud wrestler. For a match, the two women wrestling usually wear a costume of some type, a fantasy costume for instance. When the two women enter into the mud wrestling pit, they strip down to their bathing suits.
Music, of course, is more often than not, playing loudly in the background. The bikini seems to be more for the predominantly male audience, as these can easily slide around and reveal more than is sometime necessary.
Most female mud wrestling matches are held using three rounds, with each round being about one minute long in length. Most of the matches prohibit the women from standing up, making them stay on their knees for the entire match. Winning a match, does not usually go to the woman who got the most pin downs.
The winner is chosen purely based on the audience response, the one who receives the loudest response from the audience is deemed the winner of the female mud wrestling match.
